We are deeply honored that TakaHisa was selected among such renowned restaurants, offering outstanding quality and sophisticated dining concepts. This achievement was made possible thanks to your support, for which we are truly grateful.

Our beloved ROBATA restaurant reopened at TakaHisa's terrace in January 2024. Renovations were completed in August 2025, adding two air-conditioned private rooms to ensure a comfortable experience even in the height of summer.

ROBATA offers carefully selected Wagyu beef, served yakiniku- and shabu-shabu-style, which can be enjoyed alongside TakaHisa's cuisine.

Our Cuisine

At the sushi and Ozaki Beef counter, our master chefs prepare a special omakase course, showcasing the finest Japanese culinary masterpieces in the Middle East.

We source the freshest seafood from Toyosu Market (formerly Tsukiji Market), Japan's largest fish market, as well as the world's highest-quality Wagyu beef, A5 Ozaki Beef (marbling level 12).

In addition to fresh fish and Wagyu beef, we also select the finest fruits from Japanese farmers. In partnership with the UAE Royal Family, we have invested in the Hatta Honey Garden, incorporating its honey into our desserts.

Our pursuit of the highest quality ingredients begins at the legendary Toyosu Market (formerly Tsukiji Wholesale Market), the world's largest fish market and an unparalleled source of premium produce. Within this culinary epicenter, TakaHisa has established its own dedicated processing facility and restaurant. Staying true to our guiding principle - "always cooking with fresh ingredients" - we hold a comprehensive trade license, allowing us to import the finest seafood directly from Toyosu to Dubai four to five times a week. This ensures each dish is crafted with exceptional freshness and flavor.

A second jewel in our fine dining crown is Ozaki Beef, celebrated as one of the world's most exquisite meats. In Japan, Wagyu beef is graded from 1 to 5 and awarded a quality score from 1 to 12, a testament to its unparalleled excellence. At TakaHisa, we proudly serve the rarest A5-grade, BMS12 Wagyu beef, sourced exclusively from Japan's most esteemed suppliers. As one of Dubai's few high-end restaurants offering such extraordinary beef, we further delight our guests with privileged access to award-winning Kobe Beef and Matsusaka Beef, ensuring an unforgettable dining experience.

SUSHI MASTER
Chef Takashi Namekata

Chef Takashi Namekata spent 15 years honing his craft as a member of the Tokyo Ukai Group, an esteemed establishment recognized in the Michelin Guide Tokyo for seven consecutive years.

Now based in Dubai, he continues to perfect his mastery of traditional Japanese cuisine. As a sushi master, he crafts authentic sushi using the finest seafood, meticulously sourced from Toyosu Market. With unparalleled expertise and dedication, Chef Namekata brings exceptional quality to every dish he creates.

WAGYU MASTER
Chef Hisao Ueda

Chef Hisao Ueda was born and raised in Hokkaido, a region renowned for its abundant seafood, artisanal processed foods, and premium meats.

He began his culinary journey honing his skills at a distinguished kaiseki restaurant in Hokkaido, where he spent approximately seven years refining his craft before relocating to Dubai in 2011. After serving as head chef at several award-winning authentic Japanese restaurants, he advanced to an executive role at TakaHisa. Chef Ueda has also been honored with a Golden Visa in recognition of his expertise as a Wagyu Beef Master.
